President's Message

Dear Students,

Words of welcome are full of future promises. But the fact that you are in a position to read these lines means that your journey of growth has already made a number of successful turns. Many promises have been already fulfilled in your life. More will hopefully follow.

As we try to make the right choices of adult life, we realize that perspectives need a fresh focus; focus on our potentials and dreams, and focus on our place in the world of the future. After all, our hope is based on the promise of a better life.

Haigazian University is proud to be part of that promise. Since 1955, it has worked hard to bring young people of the region into an intimate house of higher education where warmth leads to growth.

It has succeeded in instilling a sense of service and leadership. It has empowered many disadvantaged ones to climb the socio-economic scale with pride. It has celebrated critical thinking and freedom of thought. It has rooted itself in the search for truth, both eternal and temporal. Instilling in them a sense of vocation, it has sent out thousands of young men and women into the scientific, business, social, educational and religious institutions of the world.

We plan to continue our mission with renewed dedication.

We want you to become part of those who receive not only their education at Haigazian University but also their inspiration for life and work. Through the inspiration we receive from others and by the inspiration we provide to others we will succeed in changing our world (at least our corner in this world) to the better.
