Types of Services We Provide

Faculty computing services: support for ITS-purchased PCs and related hardware and software peripherals. Academic software support, which includes software that ITS develops or purchases license for. This also includes support for e-mail, Internet access, website, and network support for creating, sharing, backing-up faculty data, classroom LCD and PC support, software training. ITS will not be responsible for hardware or software that it doesn’t purchase.
Staff computing services: support for ITS-purchased PCs and related hardware and software peripherals. Software support, which includes software that ITS develops or purchases license for. This also includes support for e-mail, Internet access, website, and network support for creating, sharing, and backing-up staff data, software training.

Student computing services: this includes computer lab PC support, library PC support, laptop connectivity support, software support, which includes software that ITS develops or purchases license for on behalf of students. This also includes support for e-mail and Internet access, website, and software training. ITS is not responsible for providing training or Q&A for software used in the classrooms.

Overall infrastructure services: this includes support of all equipment and media used in the Haigazian on-campus network, and automatic update and upgrade of all ITS-purchased hardware and software. ITS does not permit installing any illegal software on ITS-purchased equipment.

Training Services

Throughout the year, and as new projects and initiatives are completed, the ITS department conducts various training and orientation workshops. The objective of these sessions is to provide students, faculty and staff with hands-on training. In addition, the department develops guidelines and user procedures that further enhance the use of these new systems.
