1- English Examinations: All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English by obtaining a score of 525 or more on one of the following:

- The international or institutional TOEFL

- The verbal reasoning part of SAT I.

Students wishing to send their test results to Haigazian University Admissions Office, should use the following code number during registration: 0106.

Students in the following categories are exempt from this requirement:

a. Students who are admitted on the basis of G.C.E. examinations, including the English language examination

b. Special students who plan to study only courses which are not taught in English.

2- Re-examination: Candidates who wish to repeat the English examination may do so; however, there has to be an interval of thirty days between the two sittings for the TOEFL.

3- Placement Test: New students with a TOEFL score of 550 or less must take English 101 - 102. Those with a score of 550 and above must sit for the English Placement Examination given by the department of English at Haigazian University. The Placement Test is valid for one year only.
