INSTRUCTORS

Maître Nadim Abboud (Licence en Droit, St. Joseph University; L.L.M., Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; M.B.A., Ecole Supérieure des Affaires, Pôle associé ESCP-EAP, Beirut) is a counselor and attorney at law.  He is co-founder of the law firm LEGIS-CO; he was previously the managing partner of the law offices of A. Abboud & Associates.  He has lectured on Labor and Social Security Laws and Tourism Law at St. Joseph University.

Mr. Fadi Abi-Aad (ESIB in electrical engineering, St. Joseph University, Beirut; DEA in telecommunication networks, Association of French Speaking Universities; Executive MBA, Ecole Supérieur des Affaires, Beirut; Certified Project Management Professional, PMI; Certified Enterprise Architect, EACOE) has more than 24 years of ICT experience, mainly in the banking sector. He is currently a business and ICT consultant and a trainer of Project Management, Operations Management, and Operations Research.

Mr. Abi-Aad is a member of the "Ordre des Ingénieurs et Architectes de Beyrouth" نقابة المهندسين, the Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellency-EACOE, the International Institute of Business Analysis –IIBA, and the Project Management Institute-PMI. He is a past president of the PMI - Lebanon Chapter. 

Mrs. Dima Baltagi Adra (B.S., American University of Beirut, M.B.A., Lebanese American University; Certified Professional in Health and Hospital Administration [CPHHA], American Institute for Healthcare Quality, U.S.A.) is a healthcare management consultant and trainer.  She has over 15 years of experience in corporate communication, organizational brand management and professional management and leadership training.  She established the first Marketing department within a hospital in Lebanon in 2000 – “Building up a Customer Oriented Organization” and developed a logo in 2002 that became in 2009 a Lebanese national stamp. She was hired in 2007 as a Change Management Expert by Qualeb (a €15 million EU funded project aimed at Strengthening Quality Management, Capabilities and Infrastructure in Lebanon) to train around 50 Lebanese organizations on change management and strategic management and to help them go through the change of becoming ISO 9001/22000 certified.

In 2008-2010 Mrs. Baltagi Adra trained more than 1125 participants in management, leadership, team building, change management and communication at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Saudi Arabia. She also established the Patient Relations Department in a tertiary referral hospital specialized in Oncology, Transplant, Neurosciences, and Genetics to better serve Eastern Province patients in Saudi Arabia. Back in Lebanon in 2012, she established her own consultancy and training firm, LEAD Consult, to help develop the leaders of the next generation.
 
 Mrs. Baltagi Adra has been a trainer in the Adult Education Program at Haigazian University since 2004.

Sabine Baraccat Abi Farah is a former communications executive and has worked for a number of multi-national communications groups in the Middle East. She worked for ten years at Grey Worldwide-Beirut, where she held a number of positions, including that of General Manager. Previously, she had worked at Promoseven-Beirut and Saatchi & Saatchi-Beirut in the Client Services Department. Her experience covers a great number of industries mainly telecommunications, service & financial companies, FMCG products & distribution companies, in addition to a number of non-governmental organizations. Since 2009, Abi Farah has been working for the Lebanon Renaissance Foundation as Operations Manager and is currently based in Beirut.

Mr. Georges Bejjani (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Option: Management Information System, Saint Joseph University, Beirut; Master Degree in Human Resources Management, Saint Joseph University, Beirut) is the “Learning & Development Expert” at M1 Group (formerly known as Investcom), an investment holding company that owns, manages and oversees subsidiaries engaged in different diversified businesses such as telecommunication, oil & energy, real estate, fashion, etc. Prior to this, he worked at Bank of Beirut as HR Analyst responsible for training, performance evaluation and HR Database.

Mr. Mike Chamieh (B.B.A., Notre Dame University; M.B.A., Lebanese American University) is Senior Officer in charge of the Training and Development Unit at Bank of Beirut. His previous positions included instructing Economics, Quality Coordinator at a hospital, and Research Executive at an embassy. He is a certified trainer and has delivered many training sessions.

Ms. Maria Frangieh (License en Economie, St. Joseph University, Beirut; Masters in Economics, American University of Beirut; Doctorate in Business Administration candidate, Grenoble Ecole de Management, France) is a trainer, instructional designer, and consultant in strategies and implementation of Web 2.0 tools in Human Resources and Digital Media Marketing. She has held managerial positions in HR and worked as a consultant in the Statistics Division of ESCWA. Ms. Frangieh was General Coordinator of the Lebanese Economic Association for a year and has been a tutor and trainer at several Lebanese universities.

Mr. Salim J. Ghalayini (B.E.E., University of Wisconsin; graduate studies – University of Wisconsin & American University of Beirut; executive development – IBM Management School, Belgium) is a productivity consultant who worked with IBM for over thirty years in more than fifteen countries. His areas of interest and experience cover business productivity, investment consulting, and human resource management. He has conducted over 70 workshops and seminars in various countries, written over sixty articles, and published two books, one on financial investment and the other on human resources.

Mr. Alexan Hagopian (B.A. & M.B.A., Haigazian University; Certified Documentary Credit Specialist, Institute of Financial Services, London) is a Trade Finance Officer at one of the Lebanese banks. He previously worked at other banks and as an accountant in a trading company. He also teaches part-time at Haigazian University.

Mr. Jihad Jelwan (Mechanical Engineer, Lebanese University; Masters in Aviation Management, ENSICA, Toulouse, France) is the Organization Manager of FlyExec, the corporate aviation company of M1 Group. He previously worked on the Total Quality Management program at Cellis, was the Head of Organization & Development at Alfa, and the Quality Manager of MMG s.a.l. He is a Senior Member and a Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He also works as consultant in the field of Organization Development & ISO9001, and lectures on TQM at St. Joseph University.

Ms. Cecilia Moudaber (Senior Professional in Human Resources [SPHR], U.S.A.; B.S. in Business Management, Beirut University College; Mastère de Gestion des Entreprises, Université du Quebec a Chicoutimi in partnership with CED-ISEC, Beirut) is currently a consultant and trainer of business professionals and a part-time instructor at Haigazian University. Her other work experience includes consultancy assignments for national SMEs, business plans and feasibility studies, and managing the HR department of a hospital (CHN).

Mr. Bassam Nammour (B.B.A.,  Notre Dame University; Post Graduate Diploma in Organizational Behavior, University of London; EMBA in Business Administration, Lebanese American University (current); various certifications including SHRM Learning System, Society for Human Resources Management, USA and ROI Skill Building, ROI Institute & ASTD, Chicago) is currently Training and Development Manager at Credit Libanais Bank and Managing Director of Think HR!, a Human Resources consultancy company.  He is also a local and regional trainer and speaker for many institutions and corporations. He was previously the Talent Development Manager at Byblos Bank. 

Ms. Mirna Raad (Maîtrise ès Sciences Naturelles, Lebanese University; Diploma in Banking Studies, Centre d’études bancaires, Beirut) has worked at Bank of Beirut since 2002. She has been Head of Organization and Procedures since 2006; before that she was a process analyst. From 1995 till 2002 Ms. Raad worked at Beirut Riyad Bank in various positions: System Quality Assurance Officer, member of a pilot team for new integrating banking software, and in the letters of credit department.

Ms. Jennifer Tabet (B.A., George Washington University; M.A. Georgetown University; Master of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University) has established her own Human Resources consulting company based in Lebanon and the UAE. Prior to this, she worked at Merck & Co (a leading US pharmaceutical company) first as a Business Partner at Merck?s headquarters in New Jersey (US) and later as the Regional HR Manager in their Middle East Subsidiary. Ms. Tabet is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Level A & B Psychometrics.

Mr. Rani Zahed (Hotel Management degree, ALPINE/IHTTI, Switzerland; Human Resources Generalist Certificate Program, SHRM, USA; M.A. in Human Resources Management, Bournemouth University, England) began his career coaching and training employees for food and beverage outlets at a Canadian airport, where he later became Operations Supervisor. In 1998 he moved to the Middle East, where he worked in a number of well-known international companies, first in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, then in Dubai. In Dubai he was Human Resources Director of the largest marketing communications organization in the Middle East; his main achievement was building a full training program for the region.

Mr. Zahed is currently based in Beirut. Until recently he was Chief Talent Officer for the MENA region at JWT, a global marketing communications agency. He now has his own consultancy firm, www.ranizahed.com. His expertise lies in managing change in organizations and understanding people insight.
