Where else can we hear such a popular mix of Mozart, Schuman, Chopin, Rachmaninof and Khatchadourian amidst our daily work routines and stress, except in Haigazian University Auditorium.
In fact, students, staff, and faculty were assembled to capacity in the university auditorium to enjoy the Classical Music Club's first audition of this year, held on January the 27th, at 12:00 p.m.
The Haigazian Alma Mater was played first in trio, and other famous chamber music pieces were performed on the piano, guitar, cello and violin by nine students who concurrently pursue a dual major in Music in the National Lebanese Conservatory.
This audition has become a tradition at Haigazian since more than ten years, performed twice per year, at the end of each semester, and since two consecutive years under the supervision of Mrs. Roubina Artinian, the registrar of the university.
The club is thankful for the delight they have created, as the performance was anything but routine.
Looking ahead with enthusiasm to the second!
