Lecture on Industrial Psychology
Due to the increasing interest among fresh psychology graduates to pursue innovative and diverse careers within the field of psychology, the Social and Behavioral Sciences Society (SBSS) at Haigazian University, hosted on March 14, 2014, a lecture on Industrial-Organizational Psychology, as a challenging career path, presented by Dr. Haitham Khoury, professor of organizational psychology in the Suliman Olayan School of Business at the American University in Beirut.

Dr. Khoury shared with an audience composed of psychology and human resources students the clear definition of the field, the requirements to specialize in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, and its vital importance in today’s market.
Many questions were raised by students concerning internship and career opportunities in Lebanon for I-O psychologists, as well as the possibility of pursuing graduate studies in this “new” sub-specialization of psychology which seems to be gaining increased popularity in many psychology programs abroad, and is revealing itself to be a much demanded vocation in the world of modern enterprise.
