The Armenian Diaspora Research Center (ADRS) at Haigazian University partners with the “Noravank” Scientific Institute
On Tuesday, October 7, 2014, the Armenian Diaspora Research Center (ADRS) at Haigazian University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the “Noravank” Scientific Institute, in the Republic of Armenia.
University President, Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian, the Director of the Armenian Diaspora Research Center at the University, Dr. Antranik Dakessian, along with Rev. Serop Meguerdichian from Aleppo, were greeted by the Institute’s Executive Director, Gagik Harutyunyan, Deputy Director, Arthur Toumanian, Executive Director of the Center of Armenian Studies, Aristakes Simorvoryan, and an expert from the Center, Vahram Hovyan.
During the meeting, Armenian Diaspora communities were discussed, specifically the issues concerning the communities in the Middle East, as well as the partnership between the “Noravank” Scientific Institute and Haigazian University, stating the potentials and prospects of the partnership.
At the end of the meeting, the Institute’s Director, Gagik Harutyunyan, presented to the University’s President the Center’s research council election certificate.
