The recruiter, Mrs. Taline Najarian introduced the audience, through the aid of a PowerPoint presentation, where Haigazian University stands today. The alumni had the opportunity to see the various faculties, majors and clubs of the University.

Then, the hundreds of inspired and proud graduates walked through the beautiful surroundings of the Mugar Garden, and assembled around a lavish buffet.

Mrs. Mayda Keleshian, member of Haigazian University's Women's Auxiliary, and a member of the class of 1982, was the MC of the night, musically helped by Haigazian's jazz band which performed a live entertainment.

Many alumni shared with their fellow alumni their thoughts and remembrances. It was very obvious that the bond that once existed, had rekindled certain nostalgia among alumni, to be reunited with old friends, as well as professors to talk about the past and share their current interests.

All alumni present put their signature on a large plaque that is being prepared to commemorate the occasion.

Towards the end of the program, Dr. John Markarian was very touched by the surprise birthday cake on the occasion of his 88th birthday.
