Haigazian University Concludes One-Month-Training of Armenian Ministry of Diaspora Staff
Beirut, August 9, 2010- On July 30, 2010, Haigazian University concluded a one-month training program of two staff members of the Ministry of Diaspora in Armenia during a ceremony which brought together University President Paul Haidostian, Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashod Kotcharian, media representatives, program trainers, in addition to senior staff and faculty members from Haigazian University.
Greda Mnatsaganyan and Mariana Gevorgyan from the Ministry of Diaspora followed a focused and intensive one-month-training, organized and coordinated by Haigazian University. Thorough lectures and presentations were delivered by professors and community leaders, and several site visits were paid, thus covering the various facets and actualities of the Armenian community in Lebanon and the Middle East.
Upon presenting the Cerificates of Completion, President Haidostian stressed on the objective of the training and the pivotal role Haigazian plays in strengthening its bonds with Armenia in which successful cooperation with the Ministry of Diaspora is celebrated.
While expressing their gratitude, both recipients thanked Haigazian University for its hospitality and organization. They described their training as comprehensive in all aspects, adding that they return to their Ministry with a feeling of contentment, enriched with knowledge and information, as well as experience and positive exposure.
In conclusion, Ambassador Kotcharian presented his word of congratulations and appreciation.
