Haigazian University students win 1st place in the “TAQA Wellbeing Championship”, with their project “TAMAS”, a psychosocial re- integrative program that aims at building bridges between juvenile detainees and the society through the assistance of University students.
TAQA is an initiative organized by INJAZ Lebanon as part of the Generation of Innovation Leaders (GIL) program powered by UNICEF Lebanon and funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands.
The group of 5 students, Rawan Said, Amal El Najjar, Hoda Al Ghali, Hussein Mroue, and Raseel Tayyara, competed against 827 other participants and 331 teams and secured the highest seed funding of 3000$ as well as the “Well-being Impact Award”.
