Since October 2019, Haigazian University has done its utmost in supporting the student body in several ways, including the financial aspect. The same will continue in the Academic Year 2022-2023.
• Starting August 1, 2022, all Undergraduate tuition will be paid 5% in fresh US dollars in cash, and 95% in Lebanese Liras at the rate of the official 1,507.5LL per dollar, unless during the academic year a change in the official exchange rate is introduced by the Lebanese authorities.
• Starting August 1, 2022, all Graduate tuition fees will be paid 10% in fresh US dollars in cash, and 90% in Lebanese Liras at the rate of the official 1,507.5LL per dollar, unless during the academic year a change in the official exchange rate is introduced by the Lebanese authorities.
• Starting August 1, 2022, a number of fees (personal accident, health insurance, medical check-up, IT services) will be paid in fresh US dollars. The rest of the fees will be adjusted in the Lebanese Liras.
True to its mission, Haigazian University will continue to grant generous financial aid to the neediest of students and merit scholarships to the academically deserving ones, as it has done for the past 67 years. This has been the directive of the Board of Trustees and the priority of the Administration, despite the fact that tuition income next year will cover less than 15% of the total operational needs of the university.
Our hope is that our efforts will play a part in helping to raise Lebanon from its multiple crises and that our students and graduates will always be instrumental in the improvement of society at large.
