Council of Women Leaders in Academia WLC
The collaborative approach to promoting women’s leadership in Academia: Engaging Lebanese and American Faculty project is to develop a partnership between HU and ASU to establish a WLC for leaders and aspiring leaders in higher education. The WLC will provide a structured space for members to develop a leadership vision, cultivate their leadership skills, and create an action plan for creating innovative change through the lens of Principled Innovation. This project also aims to disseminate information on leadership skills and women in leadership roles to a wider audience. The WLC’s long-term intended impact is to build a sustainable network of advocates for women leaders in higher education. The WLC will serve as a model of how future institutions may collaborate when focusing on larger, global university and gendered challenges.
