Haigazian University Gala Banquet in support of scholarships for needy students raises 100,000USD.
The auspicious event which took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons hotel in Down Town Beirut, on June 6, 2019, was attended by many of the luminaries of the Lebanese and Armenian community, including Minister of Tourism, Avedis Guidanian, religious leaders, the AMAA leadership, Haigazian Board members from the USA, benefactors and supporters, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University.
The memorable evening was animated by the University’s Public Relations Director, Mira Yardemian as the MC. Special messages were delivered by University President, Rev. Paul Haidostian, Board of Trustees Chairwoman, Dr. Hasmig Baran, and the Executive Director of the AMAA, Mr. Zaven Khanjian, all acknowledging and appreciating the tremendous efforts of all stakeholders pooled towards the support, success and advancement of the University
Renowned Soprano Shoghig Torossian had a unique performance, while Haigazian Music Club members Ari Vartanian and Taniel Kejderian graciously entertained the audience into cheerful mood of happiness and joy.
A special video produced by the Development Office featured the educational journey of scholarship recipient students, in addition to testimonies of community leaders sharing their perception of Haigazian University.
It is worth noting that the Gala event was followed next morning by the annual Board meetings, which took place over two consecutive days, focusing on the strategic initiatives and the future plans of the University.
