On November 1-2, 2019, the Board of Trustees of Haigazian University held its regular biannual meeting in Los Angeles, CA. The agenda included status reports of the various departments and especially the plans for the university’s 65th anniversary celebrations in Lebanon and abroad during the year 2020. Most importantly, however, the Board reviewed the momentous developments in Lebanon during the past weeks and expressed its full solidarity with the Administration, the Faculty and the Student Body as they join the whole nation in its search for unity, just systems, economic development, and human dignity. The Board renewed its full commitment to the critical mission of Haigazian University in Lebanon and the Middle East as an oasis of education in the midst of turbulence, and as a pillar of hope for the future generations in the midst of discouragement.
May all developments lead to a renewed and stable Lebanon.
