Supported by the Higher Education Capacity Development (HECD) – funded by USAID, the Career Guidance Services (CGS) at Haigazian University, organized a two-day workshop entitled “Career Readiness Forum”, paving the way to a career-ready future for our students.
On November the 4th, HR Specialist and Consultant, Mohamad Al Mays, conducted a comprehensive training to students, on how to professionally draw their career path through optimizing their professional digital presence, namely LinkedIn. The session was followed with a workshop on drafting a compelling resume, delivered by the Haigazian University Writing Center team, under the leadership of Ms. Anita Moutchoyan.
On November the 11th, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, HU Alumna Rama Mehanna, lead a session on interview readiness, providing practical skills on how to prepare for and master job interviews, in addition to effective ways of introducing oneself and portraying job related experiences. It is worth noting that the CGS has also organized previous student development trainings during the semester, such as a workshop on “Mental Health”, facilitated by the University’s Student Counsellor, Mirjam Polak and the Senior Student Life Project Manager, Chukri Charbetji, as well as a plant visit to one of the leading Lebanese companies, Malia Group (Cosmaline and Pharmaline).
