True to its vision and mission in providing adults with relevant educational opportunities that enrich their personal and professional growth, the Center of Continuing Education (CCE), a division of Haigazian University, has been very active in launching and organizing various programs, workshops, and training courses, both vocational and academic, promoting and preserving the on-going learning of adults.

Always taking pride in the University’s Armenian identity and heritage, the CCE recently launched the “Armenian Cuisine” workshops series, enabling avid participants explore the diverse culinary flavors of historical Armenian regions through the Art of Cooking. The 5 distinct regions covered were Hadjin, Ourfa, Aintab, Marash and Mousa Ler.

The CCE also collaborated with International, Lebanese and Armenian organizations providing tailor-made training to their staff, namely in social media, digital marketing, and new trends in education and psychology.

In this respect, an 8-hour workshop on “Social Media Proficiency” was designed in collaboration with the Armenian Prelacy in Lebanon – Social Committee. A dynamic mix of 29 participants from the Armenian community built a solid understanding and proficiency in strategies and methodologies across different social platforms.
Within the framework of same collaboration, this time with the Educational Committee, another 8-hour tailored workshop on “Instructional Strategies for Next Generation Learners”, was provided to 41 teachers from 4 Armenian Prelacy schools.

In collaboration with Caritas – Lebanon, tailor made training were offered to their staff and teachers, in the fields of Project Management, Child Psychology, Classroom Management, Inclusive Classrooms, and Education.

Various other workshops were also offered in Supply Chain Management, Artificial Intelligence for Educators.
