A distinguished delegation from Haigazian University proudly represented Lebanon at the Youth Future Summit 2026 (YFS26), held from February 5–8, 2026, at the Mövenpick Hotel Geneva. Organized by the Center for International Policy and Sustainability (CIPS), the summit brought together 200 young leaders and professionals from more than 120 countries to exchange ideas and propose solutions addressing some of today’s most pressing global challenges.
The four-day summit focused on key themes including climate action, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, global governance, and social innovation. Through high-level discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative sessions, participants explored innovative strategies to shape a more inclusive and sustainable future.
Dr. Christine Arzoumanian, faculty member in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Haigazian University, was featured as a speaker in the summit’s opening high-level panel discussion. The panel convened experts from academia, think tanks, international organizations, and defense sectors to examine the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, global governance, human rights, and the responsibility of institutions in guiding emerging technologies. Her participation highlighted the University’s growing engagement in international academic and policy dialogues.
Haigazian University was further distinguished when senior business student Lyn Aldomiati was selected among only 10 delegates to deliver a “Future Youth” talk. Representing Lebanon and embodying the University’s values and ethical principles, she addressed the role of youth from a global perspective, emphasizing the responsibility of emerging leaders to foster inclusive, sustainable, and ethically grounded futures.
Two students — Lyn Aldomiati and Lynn Rustom — were selected by the organizers to participate in the summit. Both students represented Lebanon and Haigazian University with distinction, demonstrating academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to global citizenship.
The summit program also included specialized workshops and interactive sessions, followed by institutional visits to the United Nations Office at Geneva and CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire). These visits provided participants with firsthand exposure to international diplomacy and cutting-edge scientific innovation.
Haigazian University and its Faculty of Business Administration and Economics remain committed to empowering students to engage on international platforms, contribute meaningfully to global dialogue, and uphold the University’s mission of ethical leadership, academic excellence, and service.
