Haigazian University Press, in collaboration with the family of Dr. Daniel Wosgian, proudly announces the launch of “Episodes from My Life”, a powerful memoir of one man’s extraordinary journey surviving the Armenian Genocide to earning a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
The launch will take place on Saturday, May 31st at 4:00 PM at Haigazian University, the Auditorium in Beirut.
“Episodes from My Life” offers a firsthand account of the Armenian Genocide, as experienced through the eyes of a six-year-old child. Orphaned and displaced, Wosgian recounts his survival through famine, and hardship—eventually finding refuge in orphanages and building a new life through education, perseverance, and purpose.
The publication of this memoir is a joint effort by the granddaughters of Daniel Wosgian, Doreen Khanamirian El Zein and Elda Khanamirian Awad to honor their grandfather’s handwritten memoirs ensuring his journey and voice take their place in history, preserving his legacy for future generations.

All proceeds from the book will benefit the Dr. Daniel Wosgian Fund at Haigazian University, to support student scholarships and educational initiatives.
