BIO

Dr. Hanine C. Hout is Assistant Professor in the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences as well as the university’s psychological counselor. Dr. Hout’s main interest in her career is her daily interactions with her students. She enjoys teaching them, advising them as well as counseling and guiding them though their personal and academic developments.

Beside her work at the university, Dr. Hout is involved in community services, such as offering different types of educational workshops to teachers and parents. She also appears as a Guest Speaker on different television and radio stations to discuss topics of a social, educational, as well as psychological nature. Dr. Hout served as the treasurer of the Lebanese Psychological Association from 2008-2011.
