BIO
Ms. Kaloussian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education (TEFL) and a Teaching Diploma from Haigazian University, which she obtained in 2002. Subsequently, she pursued her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in 2015, followed by a second Master of Arts in Multilingualism and the Acquisition of English from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2021. Currently, she is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. thesis in Applied Linguistics & Education, focusing on the teaching and learning of English as EFL/ESL at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. Her extensive experience spans over 25 years, during which she has held various roles including teacher, coordinator, head of English department, and head of preschool and elementary divisions. Her expertise in curriculum design and school improvement is underscored by her significant contributions as a director of research and development, quality control, and training for educational institutions. Additionally, she has worked as an educational consultant with numerous institutions, further enriching her understanding of educational practices. Ms. Kaloussian is committed to professional development through involvement in several international research groups, such as EFLIC-UAB Barcelona, International Association of Multilingualism, GReLA-UAB Spain, GLAUR Research Group-Universidad De La Rioja, ATEL-Lebanon, and ASYRAS Research Group, Spain. She has also presented her research findings in various international conferences. Furthermore, Ms. Kaloussian has been actively engaged in conducting teacher training workshops since 2010, both within schools and at Haigazian University. Currently, she imparts her knowledge and expertise through teaching Communication Skills and Business English courses.
