Description: The Club represents chess at Haigazian University. The Club participates in local and inter-university tournaments and championships.

Objectives: To promote chess at HU, organize friendly inter-university tournaments, participate in local and international tournaments, obtain commendable results, establish contacts with other university teams, and organize group outings as a means of socializing

Guidelines: The Club meets on a weekly basis; the members practice and play have discussions, learn the basics, and study strategies and new techniques.

Past Achievements: For the fourth year running, the Club organized the HU inter-university chess tournament and participated in several inter-university tournaments, where they achieved commendable results.

Upcoming Events: The Club will organize the seventh annual inter-university Chess Championship.
