Apply for Financial Aid

How and When to Apply

  1. First, apply to Haigazian University and get your student ID from the Admissions Office.
  2. Contact the Financial Aid Office to get your password. You’ll need this to log in.
  3. Log in to the Student Information System (SIS) Portal using your University ID and password.

Once you’re logged in:

  • Click the three lines (menu) on the left side of the screen.
  • Under Accounting, choose Financial Aid.
  • Fill out your financial aid application and submit prior to the deadline.(March 31 for the fall semester and November 30 for the spring semester).
  • To better assess your need, you or a family member will be called for a short interview, during which you have to submit the needed documents as hard copies.
  • Once the financial aid committee has reviewed your application, you will receive an email notifying you of the decision.

Applications for financial aid received after the designated date will be considered late and will be processed only as the remaining funds allow.

Do not wait until the deadline to apply.

Documents Requested from First Time Applicants

  1. A recent passport-size photograph.
  2. Photocopy of recent Family Civil Status Record.
  3. Photocopy of all recent rent contract(s) and/or ownership deed(s) of house, business premises, land, etc.
  4. Income Statement forms for each earning member of the family. Form-FA1 for employed member(s) and Form-FA2 for self-employed member(s).
  5. “Confidential Statement on Student Financial Aid Condition” forms (2), filled out by two references. (See Form-FA3)
  6. Recent school registration certificate(s), showing tuition fees and financial aid (if applicable) for each dependent child enrolled at school or university.
  7. Medical Report for sick members of the family and any additional document(s) supporting medical expenses.
  8. Photocopy of car(s) registration form for each car owned by the family members.
  9. Photocopy of loan agreement(s) if applicable, with supporting documents.
N.B. Other additional documents may be requested as needed.

Important Notes

  1. Remember that all the requested documents need to be submitted with the application. Only complete applications will be considered.
  2. Financial Aid applications are valid for one academic year.
  3. An interview is required of new applicants. The date will be set upon submission of the application.
  4. Do not wait until the deadline to apply.
