IATA Foundation Diploma in Travel & Tourism

The IATA-certified Foundation Diploma in Travel and Tourism is offered in collaboration with BSO Academy.

This program provides a solid foundation in the airline travel and tourism industry, covering the essential knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in this field. Participants will learn how to effectively provide guidance on flight options, accommodation choices, and tour packages, while ensuring that travelers meet all necessary travel requirements. The program emphasizes the development of customer service and sales skills, enabling participants to advise clients on travel plans that best suit their needs. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience in using global distribution systems to manage travel reservations efficiently.

Project Management Diploma

This training course builds on ‘Basics of Project Management’. Participants learn more advanced tools, techniques, and best practices including: Earned Value Management, resource scheduling and administration, management reporting and analytics, and how to integrate the various deliverables in the lifecycle of a project. (Prerequisite: ‘Basics of Project Management’ or equivalent experience).

Basics of Microsoft Project – PJM 0011 (20 hours, 10 online sessions)Dr. Joseph Abboud

Microsoft Project is a software application specifically for use in planning and managing projects. Participants learn how to use the fundamentals of this tool, including developing a Work Breakdown Structure, Gantt chart, and Resource Schedules, to help them plan and manage projects more efficiently.

Digital Marketing Basics with Emphasis on AI Essentials – DMA 0010

Interior Design Masterclass – IDM 0010

(A 20-hour Training Course)

The Interior Design Masterclass is an immersive five-week training course designed to provide you with a strong foundation in interior design principles and practices. In the initial weeks, you’ll engage in activities and discussions that introduce you to the basics of interior design, architecture, and art. You will delve into the world of colors, learning about the color wheel, color psychology, and how to choose the right hues for different spaces. Additionally, you will explore textiles, furniture design, and the importance of human factors and proportions in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors.

As the course progresses, you’ll gain insights into finishes, lighting, and how to find and develop your own design style. You will also learn about sustainability in material selection, the creation of lighting layouts, and the integration of systems like HVAC. The final weeks are dedicated to hands-on project work, including personal site plans, material and furniture selection, and space optimization. The course culminates with a final project presentation and evaluation, ensuring you are well-prepared to apply your new skills in real-world settings.

Human Resources Strategic Management – HRD 0010 (12 hours, online)

This training course provides a brief overview of the principles and practices of Human Resources Strategic Management. It covers, among other topics, an introduction to Strategic Management, the identification of HR Strategic management components, the critical link between organizational and HR strategy, how strategic HR initiatives align with business objectives in various HR functions, and the key HR metrics that inform strategic decisions.

Recruitment and Selection – HRD 0011 (12 hours, online)

The Recruitment and Selection training course aims to empower HR professionals, hiring managers, and recruitment teams with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of the recruitment process and drive organizational success through effective recruitment practices. Participants will acquire skills and knowledge related to the recruitment and selection functions in the Human Resources Department.

Personnel Administration – HRD 0012 (12 hours, online)

This comprehensive training course covers essential concepts and practical techniques in managing personnel. From understanding the core responsibilities of a Personnel Officer to handling all the required tasks, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed for success in personnel administration.

Labor Law, NSSF and Taxation – HRD 0013 (12 hours, ON CAMPUS, PHYSICAL PRESENCE)

The training course familiarizes participants with the Lebanese Labor Law articles that are most common to Human Resources Management. In addition, it explains the most critical rules of the NSSF and taxes as applied by law.

This training course is mandatory for all students living/working in Lebanon. Students living/working outside of Lebanon are exempted from this course. Instead, they have to submit an assignment related to Labor Law which will be communicated to the students by the CCE Supervisor.

Organizational Behavior Concepts – HRD 0014 (12 hours, online)

This training course exposes and analyzes a few of the factors that shape human behaviors and interactions in the workplace and seeks to understand how they impact a company’s management style, performance, and internal environment. Among the topics covered are management theories, motivation, perception, attitude, communication, team and group dynamics, decision making, culture, structure, and leadership.

Job Design and Description – HRD 0015 (12 hours, online)

This training course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of job analysis, design, and description writing. Students will learn how to analyze jobs to identify the tasks, roles, responsibilities, skills and qualifications required, how to design jobs that align with organizational goals and objectives, and how to create job descriptions. This course aims to equip students with the skills to develop and implement an effective job analysis and description system.

Training and Development – HRD 0016 (12 hours, online)

This comprehensive training course provides a deep understanding of Training and Development within the organizational context. Participants will gain insights into adult learning principles, effective training design, training delivery techniques, and the integration of technology in training. The course will also cover assessing training effectiveness, adapting to change and future trends, building a training culture, and designing personalized learning paths.

Performance Management Program – HRD 0017 (12 hours, online)

This interactive and hands-on training course provides both theoretical and practical exposure to designing a strategic Performance Management Program. It covers the intricacies, challenges, and opportunities of the program’s main components, including objective setting, appraisals, metrics, and performance improvement plans.

Compensation and Benefits Schemes – HRD 0018 (12 hours, online)

This interactive training course provides theoretical and practical exposure to designing a Compensation & Benefit Schemes Program. It covers the intricacies and opportunities of the program’s main components, including the compensation mix, internal consistency, and external competitiveness.

Organizational Policies and Procedures – HRD 0019 (12 hours, online)

Organizational Policies and Procedures is a comprehensive training course designed to provide an understanding of the importance, development, and administration of the Employee Manual, which clarifies policies and procedures, as well as the internal bylaws governing employee-employer relations within organizations. Through theoretical concepts, practical examples, and case studies, participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively develop, implement, and maintain organizational policies and procedures.

*The training courses of the HR Diploma can be taken in any order. Nevertheless, for individuals new to the realm of HR and aspiring to enter the field, we suggest starting their journey with the HR Strategic Management (HRD 0010) training course.
