Description: The SBS Society represents the student body majoring in any of the fields of specialization within the SBS Department: Psychology, Social Work, Education and Early Childhood Education
Objectives: To build a sense of cohesion among all students majoring in SBS toward mutual social and intellectual benefit, through the organization of professional seminars and lectures, as well as raise awareness toward social and educational issues affecting our society, through fund-raising campaigns and other events such as exhibits and debates.
Past Achievements: The SBS Society has organized a full autism- awareness month in April 2013 and a lecture on the detection of depressive symptoms, with the cooperation of highly distinguished speakers in the disability and clinical fields. In June 2013, SBS Society was awarded “one of the most promising societies of the year” prize.
